Recently I have been using Diigo. I like how it is so easy to post and see different tools others found interesting. It is an amazing networking sight! It makes it so easy to highlight and take personal notes, without having to have a personal sheet of paper. I love that Diigo allows you to bookmark and save information, and makes it easy to stay organized. It does this by making it possible to search through all your bookmarks. My only complaint with Diigo is that I think initially it was confusing to work, and as visually cluttered. However, after use I realized it was not as hard as I thought.
Blogging has been an experience for me so far. I like how blogging makes me recall what I did in my educational technology this class, and brings me back to how to do everything. I do not like how I feel as if my blogs are so structured, but I love being able to share with everyone what I am learning in my educational technology class! I have learned about the blogging process that it is interesting to see how others respond to the blog posts, and that it is important to stay up to date with the posts. I have also learned that sometimes blog websites will be challenging, but you just have to work through it.
A web 2.0 tool that I would use in my classroom is Skype. Skype is a tool that you can video and live chat with one another. I think this would be so helpful if I could not make it to class, then I would still be able to give my students the lectures. This would be so helpful to ensure the class never got behind. It could also be used for students who are at home to log on to their Skype account, and watch class live. This way they can stay home, but still get the benefits of going to class. My review of Skype would say I think Skype is so nice that you can live chat, and video chat, on many different devices, and you just have to register. It makes it easy for so many people to get involved on the same site in a form of live chat, even if they do not have the same products, like example all apple products or something. Check out Skype below!
Same here. I also thought Diigo was too complicated first but realized it was not as hard as I thought. :-) I am glad you enjoy Diigoing now!
